Duke does not like the snow. Getting him outfitted to go for walks is an ordeal.

7 inches and still coming down!

But he's so cute in his outfit!!!

He reminds me of the dogs on the Beverly Hillbillies in this pic for some reason!

I love dogs in clothes. I don't know why but there's nothing better than a dog in boots.

How much trouble did you have to endure to get those boots on him? The Terrorist would totally freak out, but he does love his sweaters.

He needs one of those Sherlock Holmes hats...you know, to complete the humiliation. Heh.

Do those boots really stay on, he doesn't kick them off when you're walking?

Patti - It's the hounddog look, I'm sure. Brazilian Mastiffs are part bloodhound, so he's got that droopy Hillbilly look about him. ;-)

Sandra - He totall needs a hat. We keep saying we're going to get him a monocle and I'll make him some spats to go over the boots to complete his Holmes look. As far as the boots go - he keeps them on because they've got indestructible velcro closures. They're called MuttLuks (ha!) and they're the only boots we can keep on him.

Retro girl - enthusiasm... yeah, that's exactly what that look is! ;-)

Cajunvegan - Believe it or not, he's pretty goof about letting us put them on him. He knows the drill by now. It's just time consuming because he doesn't have the best balance when he's on 3 legs (hit by a car before he came to live with us and broke his hip) so putting each boot on is a bit of a balancing act. As long as he can lean on us while we lift up one paw at a time it works fine.

Survivingmyself - We could have our dogs give each other lessons. You'rs could tell Duke how to enhoy himself and mine could clue yours in on how to be generally unenthused about the whole thing.
