See her? She's happy. She hadn't yet had to kill off a part of herself so the rest of her could thrive. I'm getting back to her. I'll find her again. I'm sure it'll be a long quest, but the goal is worth it.

See this girl? She's beautiful, talented, funny, and intelligent! She has a big heart of gold! She may be on a journey right now, and be sorting out some difficult things...but she's strong and she'll get there...and emerge on top, with a halo of light around her! She will ultimately find true happiness and love. With patience and perserverance.
That's what I see when I look at this girl.
